They say the best things in life happen by chance… and that's exactly how The Pet Journal was born.
This project traces its roots back to Revista Mascotas&Co, a publication created in Colombia by Milena Buenaventura. From there, the idea emerged to take the concept to a new stage and build a magazine with international reach. Along that journey, Milena found in Tachi the perfect partner to bring this dream to life in Miami.
We are Milena and Tachi—two designers united by a deep love for animals and a shared vision: to create a platform that educates, inspires, and promotes animal welfare. What began as a coincidence evolved into a purpose-driven project where creativity, design, and social commitment come together.
Milena, with her artistic vision and editorial experience, brings each page to life, crafting a visual identity that reflects our passion for pets. Tachi, through marketing and storytelling, drives the project's growth by connecting brands, experts, and the community through content with real value.
Today, The Pet Journal continues to grow with the same excitement as day one, building a community that celebrates the unique bond between humans and animals. Because this magazine doesn't just talk about them… it exists for them.
