Inside Pet Evolution: premium nutrition, comfort-first grooming, and a community-minded team that treats pets like family.

At Pet Evolution Cooper City, one idea shapes everything: pets are family. That's why every recommendation—from food to grooming—is rooted in real know how and tailored to your pet's comfort. Locally owned and community focused, Pet Evolution brings together premium nutrition, professional grooming, and an easy self-serve dog wash to help pets thrive at every stage of life.

Fun fact for perspective: there are now more pet dogs in the U.S. (about 87.3 million) than children under 18 (about 73.1 million)—a snapshot of just how central pets have become in everyday family life. Real guidance, not guesswork: Friendly, knowledgeable help finding the right food, treats, and everyday essentials. Curated, premium selection: High-quality options with clear ingredients and solutions for common needs and every budget. Grooming with a calm approach: Safety focused, "quality over quantity" grooming that respects each pet's comfort level.

Self-serve wash = no at home mess: A clean, easy DIY dog wash setup when you just need a quick bath. Locally owned, community minded: Events and partnerships that support pets beyond the store. PetEvolution is especially known for making proper nutrition the starting point for lifelong wellness. You'll find a carefully chosen selection of high-quality foods and treats with ingredient transparency and options for different needs and lifestyles.

Instead of a "one bag fits all" approach, the team helps pet parents understand what they're feeding and why—with guidance that supports digestion, skin and coat health, healthy weight, and everyday energy. As Leonie puts it, they chose Pet Evolution for "the excellent business opportunity paired with our love of pets" Since opening in January, the store has welcomed more than 1,000 customers (and even more pets), and the couple credits Cooper City's strong, pet loving community spirit for the warm support they've felt from day one. If the store feels a little more like a neighborhood hangout than a quick errand, you can thank Richard and Leonie. Richard and Leonie met and married in Colorado a few years ago, then decided to return to Florida. For Leonie, it was a true homecoming: she spent two decades in Pembroke Pines, and her son went to school—and played baseball—right here in Cooper City. "We came back for the opportunity to open this store in a terrific location," they say. Their passion goes beyond the store. Through local partnerships, events, and support for animal welfare initiatives, Pet Evolution is
